The Chaplin Office

Our company Roy Export S.A.S. owns the copyrights and other relevant rights to all films made by Charles Chaplin from 1918 onwards, except A Countess from Hong Kong. We handle the rights to live orchestral screenings of these films.

Our office in Paris represents the Chaplin rightsholding companies, as well as the Chaplin family. We also manage the Chaplin archives, approve certain Chaplin-related projects, and sometimes help out with these projects (film distribution, screenings, books, exhibitions, research, documentaries, stage shows, etc.).
