The Circus with Timothy Brock and the Residentie Orkest
Charlie Chaplin is one of the most famous film stars of all time and the king of silent film. The Residentie Orkest will screen his classic The Circus with live music composed by Chaplin himself. In the 1928 silent film, Chaplin plays a drifter who flees from the police, accidentally disrupts a circus display and is immediately hired as a clown. The film became a huge hit and Chaplin received no less than four Oscar nominations for it. Experience this spectacle on May 11, 2024 at the Great Hall of PAARD.
