Immerse yourself in the Hollywood of the thirties! One of the great artists of this era is undoubtedly Charlie Chaplin, whose character of the Tramp is still widely referenced in pop culture today. His 1936 film MODERN TIMES is his last masterpiece in the silent film tradition, with which he made cinema history as a producer, leading actor, author, composer and director. As back then, the critical silent film satire about industrialization will be accompanied by music, played live by the Regensburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
