Come and enjoy a unique evening in the historic setting of Prague’s Lucerna cinema on 20 February 2025. On the programme is a screening of two iconic works by Charlie Chaplin - The Kid, a touching story about the friendship between a young boy and a tramp, and The Idle Class, a brilliant satire on social differences full of comic confusions and situations.

The films will be accompanied by live music composed by Chaplin himself, performed live by the Prague Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Tibor Engler. This evening will take you back 100 years to the golden era of silent cinema and enhance the experience in the authentic atmosphere of one of the oldest cinemas in Europe.
